Jefferson Middle School

The Chess Club gives students an opportunity to play friendly games of chess against their peers in a low-stress environment. Students of all levels are welcome to come, as help is given to those who need it. Chess variants are sometimes played.

Chess Club also offers chess quizzes, chess puzzles and problems, sometimes with a prize for the winner!

Franklin Chess Club also holds several intramural and inter-scholastic games, including a long-awaited game with Forked River Chess Club. Franklin Chess Club will continue this annual chess game as a part of the long-standing tradition.
